Heather Herbst, MA, LPC

Heather Herbst, Master of Arts, Licensed Professional Counselor provides many forms of behavioral health treatment to assist in your healing and improve your mental health. Heather graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a member of the Ohio Counseling Association, the Liberty University chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, and the American Association of Christian Counselors. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages.

Each client has individual needs and goals that will be met with specific and attainable tasks such as worksheets, open discussions, and development of coping skills. Using an eclectic foundation that combines cognitive behavioral, existential, narrative, psychodynamic, and play therapy, Heather will choose the appropriate theoretical basis for each individual client to help achieve personal goals and outcomes. She believes that each individual is equipped with the necessary strength, power, and wisdom to overcome any obstacle. Counseling helps to facilitate change and provide a safe environment for growth and exploration. Faith-based services are available at the comfort level of the client.
