ABOUT Brenna Gentzel, CT


Brenna Gentzel, CT is a Counseling Intern obtaining her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Ashland Theological Seminary. Brenna is a member of the Alpha Tau Sigma chapter of the Professional Honor Society for Counselors, Chi Sigma Iota. She is currently completing her internship at Arbor and works with a variety of different clientele. Brenna is passionate about working with children, teens, and young adults. She uses art-based therapy along with other creative and play therapies when beneficial and helpful to clients. Brenna’s approach is based on Cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and existential therapy which looks at the stories we tell ourselves and challenge the unhelpful thoughts that we think. She looks forward to helping you rewrite your story and achieve your vision of wellness.
